# Closing speech 27. 11. We come to the end of today’s march, we end symbolically here, in front of the statue of justice. Most of the pro-Palestinian events have either taken place here, have marched trough here or have made a stop here to use the symbolism of this artwork. But, let us ask ourselves, what even is this justice? You yourselves have noticed today that the protest took part in a more difficult setting and it wasn’t only because of the weather. Brno has been at least for a week now full of Christmas trees, stands and decorations, and because of them today we marched on narrow pavements, speeches were delivered not in public squares, not on the main streets, but in the backstreets of the city centre. The city of Brno is therefore an excellent example of how this world actually works. This world is not built and governed in the name of human comfort, in the name of our humanity, in the name of just use of all the fruits mother Earth has to offer. No, it is built with profit in mind, and anything that stands in the way will be stomped on. All will be stomped on in the name of profit - the right of assembly, the Bedriška community, the right to life and in the end even justice, democracy and human rights will take a sidestep when it is time to fill someone’s already full pockets. And you know what, it pisses me off, I will say it. It pisses me off, because this is not how things are supposed to work. It pisses me off, that for the past few years I, just as you did with all the allies of our movement, have clashed with a system, which actively surpresses opinions, which are actaully in line with the values of solidarity, freedom, democracy and human rights. And the same system has the audacity to shield itself with these values when it silences us, when it lies about us, when they call us antisemitic, when they call us terrorists. It pisses me off, it pisses you off, it pisses off everyone around. So we are standing here yet again and yelling at the world that it pisses us off. And nothing has happened, our rights, just as the rights of Palestinians, of the Sudanese and all the Third World, are being stomped on in the name of profit, in the name of capitalism, in the name of empire. So, how do we get out of this? Do we yell louder? Should there be more of us? Yeah, sure, that won't hurt, as they say. But what is really important is not to end with this, with going somewhere and yelling. Yes, it helps, it helps our feelings of frustartion from the world we live in, which pisses us off because it is not human. But it does not help those who are actively harmed by this system. And that is why, at the end, I speak directly to you, whether you are hearing my words here or reading them somewhere on the internets, which I would cancel altogether anyways. Organise It is so cliché it hurts, I know. But this isn’t a mere slogan, this isn’t a motto, this is an order. This is an order passed down generation to generation by all people who were pissed off at this world and wanted to do something about it. This is an order passed down to us by Jews fighting against the Roman empire. This is an order passed down to us by our Czech ancestors fighting against German opression, be it the Holy Roman empire, the Habsburg monarchy or the Protectorate or however else they called themselves. This is an order passed down to us by John Brown, a white abolitionist, organising black militias which liberated black slaves even before the American Civil War. This is an order passed down to us by Che Guevera and Castro and their Cuban brothers and sisters who overthrew the bloody Batista dictatorship. This is an order passed down to us by Nelson Mandela, who suffered long years in a South African prison and who faced accusations of terrorism just because he was fighting against apartheid. This is an order passed down to us by all the peoples who have ever experienced injustice. By all the peoples who have fought for justice. And this is an order that I have heard myself and for the past two years I have been working overtime to try to do something about this fucked up state of the world. And now I pass this order, this message of all the opressed peoples, onto you. Organise Join the pro-Palestine movement, our ranks are open. Join the enviromental movement, many of you were at the protest against that fascist duo: Macinka and nazi saluting Turek. Join the Universities for Climate, join Fridays for Future, join Limity jsme my. Join labour unions and where there are none, start building them. Join a tennants union. Join antifascist movements. The world and Czechia are gonna experience a disgusting wave of fascist reaction, to which we can react only if there is enough of us and if we know what we have to do. And we cannot do that alone. Individual fight against empire is a fight of a suicidal person. Organise Whoever you are, a working class Czech, a Roma person, a black person, a Slovak, a faggot, a tranny, a woman - one day you will be grateful that an organised and a disciplined movement has your back. I will be grateful. Because they will come for us. So when the Nazis come marching in the streets again, we will be ready. No pasarán, they will not pass. I appeal to you, join organisation. If you want to join us, the Palestine movement, and continue in the work of the November initiative, please come to us after the protest. And please, if you are from any other organisations that want to listen and want to work together, let’s talk, let’s organise. We all saw at the anti-Macinka protest that we can do it. So we can do it with anything. You can see that the November inititiative is a diverse coming together of various collective and individuals, and yet we could agree. Contact us and we will contact you as well. And an additional appeal, so that I boost the message of our last speech, if you are from labour unions, you hold immense power. We need this power and we will need it more than ever. Please, organise. All of the listed collectives are connected by one thing, and that is the disdain for the Abominaton, which many excuse as mere conservatism, mere liberalism, mere world order, mere law - but let's be frank, it is all fascism. And lets be frank, fascism is not okay. Fascism is wrong. Fascism is an Abomination. Fascism is a monster. And as all childrens’ tales tell us, we should fight the monsters. So we will fight. Together, against fascism, racism, against dehumanisation, against islamofobia, against all hateful ideologies and systems which benefit from hate, against colonialism, against imperialism, against capitalism.
